Cultural Supports

Have you ever wondered where you come from? Do you want to learn about Indigenous cultural practices?

RaY’s cultural program developed because youth like you wanted to learn about their cultural backgrounds within the safety and comfort of RaY.

Today, we are committed to providing cultural supports throughout all of our programs.

Here are some of the services offered by RaY’s cultural team:

  • Ceremonies
  • Land-based teachings and workshops
  • Cultural Advisors who can support you
  • Individual cultural supports
  • Group activities where you can learn in a safe space

Youth of all backgrounds are welcome to connect with our cultural program. This includes:

  • First Nations and Inuit youth
  • Metis and mixed heritage youth
  • Youth with European ancestry and other backgrounds
RaY is committed to implementing the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, including investing in programming for and by Indigenous people. The cultural program is just one way RaY supports this commitment. For more information on RaY’s commitment to cultural safety, inclusion, and equity, email or visit our Methodology page.
